1. Matching service only
Backfreight.com is an online matching service that introduces customers with transport requirements to transport members who may be able to assist. Backfreight.com is not the transport provider.
2. No transport contract with Backfreight
Any contract for collection, delivery, removals, haulage or transport services is made directly between the customer and the transport member. Backfreight.com is not a party to that transport contract unless expressly agreed in writing.
3. Member information
Backfreight.com may display member profiles, contact information, vehicles, operating areas, availability and other details supplied by members. Although we may operate checks and review processes, customers should still satisfy themselves that a member is suitable for the job before proceeding.
4. No guarantee of availability
Search results and matches do not guarantee that a member is available, willing or able to complete a job. Customers should contact members directly and confirm all arrangements before relying on a booking.
5. No escrow or payment holding
Backfreight.com does not hold customer funds, does not act as an escrow provider and does not guarantee payment, refund, delivery performance or completion of the transport service.
6. Customer responsibility
Customers are responsible for giving accurate information, agreeing pricing, checking the member's suitability, confirming insurance where appropriate and ensuring that the goods are lawful and suitable for transport.
