2. Information we collect
We may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, collection and delivery details, transport requirements, search history, member profile information, vehicle information, uploaded documents and messages or enquiries sent through the platform.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate the matching service, show search results, send customer results emails, send member lead notifications, manage member accounts, review documents, improve the platform and protect the service from misuse.
4. Sharing information
Customer contact and job information may be shared with matched transport members so they can contact the customer about the transport requirement. Member profile and contact information may be shown to customers in search results.
5. Email communications
We may send emails relating to searches, matched results, member leads, account access, document review, password resets, compliance and platform administration. During testing, emails may be redirected to a test email address controlled by Backfreight.
6. Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the platform, maintain records, handle disputes, meet legal or compliance requirements and protect the service. Document and vehicle archive retention rules may be set out separately.
