Working Draft for Legal Review
Verification and Document Upload Policy
Last updated: 13 June 2026
1. Why documents are required
Backfreight.com may ask transport members to upload documents so that the platform can review insurance, vehicle details, compliance information and account suitability.
2. Upload requirement
Members may be allowed to register before documents are fully reviewed, but they must upload requested documents within the timescales shown on the platform. Backfreight may pause or restrict affected vehicles if documents are not uploaded.
3. Document review
Uploaded documents may be reviewed manually by Backfreight. Acceptance of a document does not guarantee that a member is legally compliant in every respect, and members remain responsible for their own legal and insurance obligations.
4. Rejection or restriction
Backfreight may reject documents that are unclear, incomplete, expired, inconsistent, unsuitable or otherwise not accepted. Vehicle search visibility may be paused until satisfactory documents are uploaded and reviewed.
5. Ongoing updates
Members must keep documents accurate and current. If a vehicle, registration, insurance position or operating status changes, Backfreight may require updated documents before the vehicle appears in search results.
6. Contact
Document and vetting enquiries should be sent to vetting@backfreight.com.
