Supplier Terms

1. About these terms
These Supplier Terms apply to transport companies, couriers, van operators, removal businesses and other transport providers who register as members on Backfreight.com or Backfreight.co.uk.
2. Backfreight.com's role
Backfreight.com operates as a matching service. We introduce customers with transport requirements to registered transport members. Backfreight.com is not a transport operator, carrier, broker, escrow service or party to the transport agreement between the customer and the member.
3. Member responsibilities
Members are responsible for providing accurate business, vehicle, operating area, route, insurance, availability and public contact information. Members must keep their account information up to date.
4. Customer contact and jobs
Members must deal directly, honestly and professionally with customers. Any quote, booking, payment, cancellation, delivery issue or service dispute is agreed directly between the customer and the member.
5. Insurance and documents
Members must upload requested documents and maintain suitable insurance, licences, permissions and operational compliance for the services they offer. Backfreight.com may pause, restrict or remove search visibility where documents are missing, expired, rejected or incomplete.
6. Search visibility
Registration does not guarantee customer enquiries, job volume, search ranking or continued visibility. Backfreight.com may apply matching, vetting, compliance, customer experience and platform safety rules.
7. Acceptance
By registering as a supplier, you confirm that you accept these Supplier Terms, the Supplier Compliance Policy, the Verification and Document Upload Policy and the Privacy Policy.
